Bruce Maggs

Bruce Maggs is currently the Director of Engineering at Emerald Innovations since October 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Professor at Duke University since July 2009. Their previous experience includes serving as the Vice President for Research and Development at Akamai Technologies from August 1998 to October 2019, and as a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University from January 1994 to June 2009. Bruce Maggs started their career as a Research Scientist at NEC Research Institute from September 1990 to December 1993. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the same institution, and completed their undergraduate education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
