Nic Newman

Nic Newman is a prominent figure in the fields of education technology and venture capital, currently serving as a General Partner at Emerge Education, a global pre-seed fund that supports early-stage founders in redefining work and learning. Nic also holds the position of Venture Partner at London & Partners and serves as a mentor in the Mayor’s International Business Programme. Previously, Nic contributed to the Department for Education's EdTech Leadership Group, supported Edval Timetables as a Non Executive Director, and was one of the founding members of Tigerspike, a digital products company. Nic's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Macat and Brakes, as well as significant positions at Mars and Sainsbury's, complemented by advanced academic qualifications from esteemed institutions including Durham University, Melbourne Business School, and Henley Business School.
