Dorismar Cuevas is an accomplished student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs at Claremont McKenna College, with additional studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Experience includes roles as a Wealth Management Intern at Morgan Stanley, participating in both Private Wealth Management and the Global Investment Office. Active involvement in several organizations includes serving as a MLT Career Prep Fellow at Management Leadership for Tomorrow, Interviewer at Free Food for Thought, and Student Fellow at Smart Woman Securities. Dorismar has demonstrated leadership as Director of Holiday and Cultural Programming for the CMC College Programming Board and as Marketing Director for 1Gen CMC. Additionally, participation in the Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Scholar program and membership on the Youth Advisory Board for Young Invincibles exemplifies dedication to finance and investment. Prior experiences include being selected as a Student Fellow in the EMERGE Fellowship, highlighting a commitment to supporting underserved students.

High-achieving students from low-income backgrounds often face significant barriers when it comes to accessing the nation’s top colleges. EMERGE partners with local school districts to help these students ignite their potential and gain access to top colleges that offer generous financial aid. EMERGE students graduate at eight times the national average for students in their demographic, frequently with minimal debt. Even more, they learn to maximize their unique strengths and talents and embrace their identities to become influential leaders in their own lives and communities.
