Kia Meekins has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Kia began their career as a Purchasing Department Assistant at Hope Community Resources in 2003, where they provided administrative support and managed travel arrangements. In 2005, they joined Enterprise Rent-A-Car as an Assistant Branch Manager and was promoted twice due to their exceptional performance. During their time there, they handled daily operations and implemented successful business plans. In 2010, they worked at Cosmopolitan Investment Partners LLC as an Assistant to the Controller, assisting with financial reports and rent collection. Kia then joined Hertz and DSW as a Customer Service Representative, gaining valuable experience in customer service. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at TD as a Store Supervisor/Senior CSR, overseeing branch operations and training team members. In 2016, they became a Casino Dealer at Maryland Live Casino before joining Emerge Inc. in 2017 as an Associate Director of Residential Services. In this role, they managed a residential program for individuals with disabilities and their complex medical and behavioral support needs, while also supervising employees and ensuring high-quality service. Kia Meekins completed their Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management at Anne Arundel Community College from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued their General Education Requirements at the University of Alaska Anchorage from 2007 to 2008, with a focus on Business Management. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications as a Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT), completed training in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED, and received certification in mandt, all in September 2019 from Emerge Inc.
