Jamie Hamilton has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. They started off as a Systems Engineer at GE Healthcare in 1998, then moved on to become a Lead Scientist at General Dynamics in 2000. In 2005, Jamie co-founded Epsilon Imaging, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer until 2015. Following that, Jamie worked as the Director of Product Definition at ZONARE Medical Systems, Inc. for a year. In 2016, they joined SonicEnergy™ as the Director of Engineering before transitioning to Emerge® in 2017. At Emerge®, Jamie served as the Vice President of Engineering and Head of Acoustic Engineering until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Vice President of Research and Development at Emerge®. Currently, Jamie holds the title of Chief Technology Officer at Emerge®.
Jamie Hamilton earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Michigan from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they obtained an MS in Physics from the same institution. Jamie completed their undergraduate studies in Physics, earning a BS degree from the University of Rochester between 1988 and 1992.
