Richard Jackson

Richard Jackson possesses extensive experience in law enforcement and engineering. Currently serving as a Police Lieutenant with the Minneapolis Police Department since August 2019, Richard has progressed through various ranks within the department since 2013. Prior roles include Sergeant and a Cadet/Police Officer with the Brooklyn Park Police Department. In addition to law enforcement, Richard has been involved in motorcycle safety training with Rider Academy and the State of Minnesota since 2006 and 2003, respectively. Richard's earlier career includes a position as a Mechanical Engineer at Control Data Corp. from 1984 to 1991. Richard holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, earned between 1982 and 1989.
