Maria Wehbe, PhD.

Maria Wehbe, PhD. has worked in the research and development field since 2006. Maria began their career as a Scientist in Tumor Immunology at the CIML in 2006. In 2010, they moved to the Institut Curie as a Research Scientist in preclinical therapy of metastatic melanoma. Maria then joined Invectys in 2015 as Head of preclinical R&D and Scientist in Immunology-Oncology-Drug development- Immune checkpoints. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at Emergence Therapeutics as a Sr. R&D project leader and Sr. Scientist in Target ID & validation.

Maria Wehbe, PhD. has a long and varied educational background. Maria obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from Aix-Marseille University in 2009. In 2015, they obtained a Certification in Project Management from Ecole centrale de Lille and a Habilitation à l'Expérimentation Animale - Niveau Concepteur from Faculté de Pharmacie - Paris Descartes. In 2020, they obtained four additional certifications from LinkedIn, including "Improving Your Thinking," "How to Project Vocal Confidence," "Strategic Thinking," and "Communicating In the Language of Leadership."
