Stéphanie ROUBAUD (Miquet) (PhD)

Stéphanie ROUBAUD (Miquet) has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and pharmaceutical development. Stéphanie is currently working as a Discovery & CMC Chemistry Manager at Emergence Therapeutics since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Provepharm Life Solutions as a Responsable Industrialisation et Projets API from January 2020 to March 2023, and as a Chef de Projets CMC from December 2017 to January 2020.

Before joining Provepharm Life Solutions, Stéphanie worked at Sanofi as a Responsable de Projet R&D from January 2017 to November 2017, and as a Responsable de Laboratoire Développement from January 2016 to December 2016.

Stéphanie also gained experience at TROPHOS - Société de Biotechnologie as a Coordinateur Projet from October 2014 to February 2015, where they were involved in the pharmaceutical and chemical development of olesoxime and assisted in coordinating development and production projects with active substance or finished product manufacturers.

Stéphanie started their career as an Ingénieur R&D (doctorat) at Aix-Marseille Université from October 2011 to September 2014, where they focused on the enantioselective synthesis of natural cyclic terpenes.

Stéphanie has also worked as a Chargé de Projet at INDICIA Biotechnologie during a stage in 2011, and at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Unit of the University of Barcelona during a stage in 2010, where they were involved in the synthesis of polycyclic amines with antiviral activity.

Stéphanie's work experience also includes a role as a Technicienne en Synthèse Organique during a stage at the Université Joseph Fourier in 2008.

Stéphanie ROUBAUD (Miquet) earned their PhD in Science with a specialization in Organic Chemistry, Total Synthesis, and Analytical Chemistry from Aix-Marseille Université in Marseille. Stéphanie completed their doctoral studies from 2011 to 2014. Prior to their PhD, Stéphanie completed their undergraduate studies at Ecole nationale supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen (ENSICAEN), where they earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. During their time at ENSICAEN from 2008 to 2011, their studies focused on Organic Chemistry, Physico-Chemistry of Polymers, Chemometrics, Analytical Techniques, and Computer Science. Before their undergraduate studies at ENSICAEN, Stéphanie obtained a Diploma of Higher Technician in Chemistry from IUT de Chimie at Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble. Their studies at IUT de Chimie took place from 2006 to 2008 and encompassed Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Materials.
