Venture Partner at Emergence Capital

Everett Cox is a venture capitalist and board member with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Everett currently serves as a Venture Partner at Emergence Capital, and was previously a General Partner at St. Paul Venture Capital from 1992 to 2002. During their time at St. Paul, the firm grew from under $200 million to over $2 billion in assets under management by investing in a broad range of companies across different industries.

Cox has also served on the board of TouchCommerce, a leading provider of digital customer engagement solutions, from December 2014 to August 2016. Throughout their career, they have helped invest in and grow many successful businesses, including Eclipsys, Medicode, Xilinx, MIPS Computers, Lexar Media, Salesforce.com, Jack Eckerd, Staples, Pacific Sunwear, and Fargo Electronics.

Everett Cox has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as a Master's in Thermodynamics from the same school. Everett also has an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business.
