Eric Drobny

Eric Drobny is an experienced emergency physician and financial leader, currently serving as both an Emergency Physician and Chief Financial Officer at Emergency Services, Inc. since 1997. In addition, Eric holds the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center since September 2012 and has recently taken on the role of President at the Ohio State Medical Association for a term from April 2023 to April 2024. Eric completed emergency medicine residency training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from July 1994 to June 1997. Eric earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine from 1990 to 1994 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont from 1986 to 1990.

Emergency Services, Inc.

Emergency Services, Inc. (ESI) is a physician owned Emergency Medicine Services group formed in 1972 to deliver emergency Physician services to Mount Carmel West Hospital. The Mount Carmel East Hospital campus opened a few years later and is now the busiest adult Emergency Department in the state. The American College of Emergency Physicians recognized ESI in 1998 as one of the oldest continuing emergency Physician groups in the nation. The initial group consisted of a handful of Physicians and one secretary. Now, ESI has grown to include over 50 Physicians and over 12 APPs. The current practice sites are Mount Carmel East Hospital, Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital, Diley Ridge Medical Center, and Mount Carmel Franklinton Free-Standing ED, and Mount Carmel Reynoldsburg Free-Standing ED.
