Coleen Glessner

Coleen Glessner has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Coleen is currently the EVP, Global Quality, Ethics and Compliance at Emergent BioSolutions since March 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. including SVP, Chief Quality Officer from January 2017 to August 2021, and VP, Head of R&D Quality and Compliance from July 2015 to December 2016. Before joining Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Coleen worked at Pfizer where they held several roles such as Vice President, Head of Clinical Trial Process & Quality, Development Operations from February 2011 to June 2015, Vice President, Head of Operational Performance Strategies, Development Operations from December 2008 to February 2011, and Senior Director, Head of Process Engineers from October 2005 to December 2008. Coleen also worked as a Strategic Project Implementation Lead / Strategic Project Lead from January 2004 to October 2005, and as a Clinical Study Manager (International Secondment) from November 2001 to December 2003. Coleen started their career at Warner Lambert Park Davis as a Clinical Research Associate and Study Manager from November 1998 to November 2001.

Coleen Glessner has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Coleen also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from the University of Pittsburgh.
