Jeff Broadfoot

Jeff Broadfoot has extensive work experience in quality operations and assurance. Jeff held various senior-level positions in companies such as Emergent BioSolutions, Cangene Corporation, Biovail, and Arjo Canada. At Emergent BioSolutions, they served as Vice President of Quality Operations and External Quality. Jeff also held the role of Senior Director of Global Quality, overseeing laboratory processes and leading the Therapeutics Business Unit Leadership Team. Before joining Emergent BioSolutions, they served as the Senior Director of Quality at the Winnipeg site, where they provided leadership to the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Validation departments. Jeff also served as the Division Head of Quality Assurance at the Bioscience Division of Emergent BioSolutions. Prior to their tenure at Emergent BioSolutions, Jeff worked as the Director of Corporate Quality Compliance and the Director of Quality Assurance at Cangene Corporation. Jeff also served as the Compliance and Validation Manager and Supervisor of Quality Assurance at Cangene Corporation. Jeff Broadfoot started their career as a QA Auditor at Biovail and later worked as a Plant Chemist/QC Supervisor at Arjo Canada.

Jeff Broadfoot has a diverse education background. Jeff pursued a Graduate Certificate in Business in the Americas from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed an Executive MBA from the same institution between 2018 and 2020. Jeff also attended Athabasca University from 2012 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree, which remains incomplete. Additionally, they participated in the Ivey Leadership Program at the Ivey Business School at Western University in 2007. Jeff's earliest educational experience was at Red River College Polytechnic, where they completed a degree in Bioengineering-Chemical Technology specializing in Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology from 1990 to 1992.
