Klaus Goodwin is a seasoned biopharma senior leader with over 25 years of experience in providing Quality oversight and direction within research and development. Currently serving as Head of R&D Quality and Head of Clinical Development Quality at Emergent BioSolutions since May 2025, Klaus also holds the position of Director at the Society of Quality Assurance. Additionally, Klaus has operated as President at Goodwin R&D Quality Consulting LLC and has consulted with various organizations, including Quality and Compliance Consulting, Inc., and The FDA Group. Educational qualifications include a Diplome in Catholic Theology from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and European Quality Systems Manager, and studies in Psychology and Business Translation.
