Tae Eung Kim

Tae Eung Kim, M.D. FACEP has extensive work experience in the field of emergency medicine. Tae Eung is currently serving as the Vice Chief of Staff, Chair of the Utilization Management Committee, Chair of the Interdisciplinary Practice Committee, Chair of the Credentials Committee, Co-Chair of the Medical Executive Committee, Physician Representative for HQI Cares: Implementing BETA HEART, and Physician Representative for the Patient Experience Steering Committee at Corona Regional Medical Center since February 2022. Tae Eung also holds the position of Chair of the Ethics Committee at the same hospital since March 2021. Previously, they have served in various leadership roles at the same hospital, including Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine (from October 2020 to February 2022), and Medical Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine (from July 2019 to present). In addition to their work at Corona Regional Medical Center, Dr. Kim has experience as a MD Advisor and U.S. Regional Medical Director at Rocket Doctor starting in September 2022. Tae Eung also serves as a Member of the SoCal Regional Ethics Committee at UHS since January 2021. Tae Eung has prior experience as an Attending Physician at Telemedicine365 starting in December 2020. Dr. Kim has also held leadership positions as Chief of the Division of Vascular Access at Dolphin Medical Imaging (starting in August 2019), Medical Director and Associate Medical Director at Emergent Medical Associates (from July 2019 to present), and Consultant at Evena Medical Vascular Imaging (from January 2016 to October 2019). Tae Eung has further experience as a Medical Director at Envision (from November 2017 to August 2018), an Emergency Physician at PIH Health Downey (from September 2017 to August 2018), and an Emergency Physician at St. Jude Medical Center (from June 2016 to November 2017).

Tae Eung Kim, M.D. FACEP holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from UCLA.
