Chris Gruner has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to 2020. Chris started their career as an Intern & Counselor at Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School, where they developed and instructed STEM-based summer camp programs focused on science and robotics. In 2015, they worked as an Inventory Specialist at Barnes & Noble, Inc.

In 2015, Chris also began working as a Programming and Game Design instructor at the University of Baltimore, a role they held until 2017. Chris then transitioned to the role of Computer Programmer/Developer at MAXIMUS, where they developed custom software applications on the IRS IBM mainframe platform. Chris also collaborated with analysts on automation, development, and strategy for end-of-year filings.

In 2019, Chris joined Centurion Consulting Group, LLC as an Application Programmer/Leidos Project, where they participated in all phases of the software development lifecycle and ensured software standards were met. Chris also designed digital forms and conducted unit testing to demonstrate stated requirements were accurate.

Most recently, Chris joined Emergent Space Technologies, Inc. in 2020 as a Software Developer.

Chris Gruner completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Simulation and Game Design (C#, Java, Python, HTML) from the University of Baltimore. Prior to that, they attended South River High School's STEM Magnet Program from 2000 to 2014, graduating from the program. During their time at South River High School, their field of study was Computer Science.
