Brent de Jong

Brent de Jong is the chairman and founder of Emergent Technology Holdings. Brent has over 25 years of experience in global private investment, including serving as a partner at Castlelake from 2016 to 2019, where they were in charge of global special situations. Brent was also the founder, CEO, and vice chairman of the board of directors at AEI Svcs LLC from 2006 to 2009. Under their leadership, AEI earned the distinctions of "Best Cross-Border M&A Transaction" and "Deal of the Year" for 2011 by Latin Finance and Euromoney magazines, respectively.

Brent de Jong attended Georgetown University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Brent also attended the United States Naval Academy.
