Zoé Bienvenu

Zoé Bienvenu has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations and roles. Zoé most recently worked as the Director of Origination at Emergent, a nonprofit focused on tropical forest conservation. In this role, they facilitated carbon credit transactions and coordinated the Lowering Emissions by Accelerating Forest finance (LEAF) Coalition. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Technical Writer for project proposal development at Rainforest Alliance. Zoé also served as a REDD+ advisor at Fundación Calmecac, where they designed the operational manual for Guatemala's Benefit Sharing Mechanism. Additionally, Zoé has experience as a professional dressage rider, winning national and international medals. Zoé has also worked at the Banque Interaméricaine de Développement, FAO, Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA), and the European Commission in various advisory and consultant roles related to climate change, gender equality, and rural institutions.

Zoé Bienvenu has a rich education history spanning over a decade. In 2007, they enrolled at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government. During their time at the university, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in History. Zoé completed both degrees in 2010.

Following their undergraduate studies, Zoé Bienvenu continued their education at King's College London in 2010. There, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Environment, Politics, and Globalization, which they completed in 2011.
