Deirdre Lea

Deirdre Lea, MS HRM, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Human Resources Manager at EmergeOrtho, P.A. in the Triangle Region since January 2022. Previously, Deirdre spent nearly 15 years at Elon University, where various roles included Human Resources Project Manager and Data Analyst, focusing on aligning HR strategies with technology, managing benefits enrollment, and supporting professional development initiatives. Earlier experience includes HR/Benefits Manager at Alamance Partnership for Children and Benefits Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Deirdre holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Capella University, a Bachelor's degree in Biology from North Carolina Central University, and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Alamance Community College.
