Mikhail Shlopak's work experience begins in 2008 at Priorbank JSC, where they initially worked as an Economist in the Bank Cards division, specifically in the Merchant Acquiring department. In this role, they were responsible for evaluating potential profitability and implementing new technologies and products in the bank cards business. Mikhail also developed actions to increase profitability in the bank cards issuing business. From September 2010 to August 2011, they worked as an Economist II in the Private Individuals division, focusing on bank card product development.
In 2013, Mikhail joined Møreforsking AS as a Research Assistant, and later progressed to the roles of Advisor Logistics, Researcher Logistics, and Senior Advisor Logistics. Mikhail was primarily involved in project management, including defining project goals, developing project applications, forming project teams, and preparing project documentation. Mikhail also coordinated team work, controlled budget spending and deadlines, ensured the quality of work performed, and maintained communication with customers. Mikhail actively participated in projects as a senior consultant and researcher in their areas of expertise. Mikhail's time at Møreforsking AS ended in August 2021.
Most recently, Mikhail has joined LeverX Group and Emerline in 2021 as a Project Manager.
Mikhail Shlopak obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Logistics from Molde University College, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a 5-year advanced university degree, Specialist, in Banking and Finance from Belarusian State University, from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they also hold several certifications, including a PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management obtained from PEOPLECERT in July 2015, as well as certifications from Visa Business School for Visa First (obtained in May 2011) and Implementing Chip with VSDC (obtained in April 2011).
