Elizabeth O'Malley

Elizabeth (Liz) O'Malley is a seasoned arts and culture professional with extensive leadership experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager for the Culture Council at Emerson Collective since December 2021, O'Malley previously held the position of Managing Director at SFFILM, where effective management practices and team performance were emphasized. As Executive Director of Roxie Theater, O'Malley achieved notable accomplishments, including securing a long-term lease and increasing membership by 50%. O'Malley's early career includes roles as an Arts Policy Researcher for the City of Oakland and positions at the Sundance Institute, contributing to fundraising campaigns and donor strategies. O'Malley holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts Management from California State University, Fullerton.
