Alexander L. Peng

Alexander L. Peng is an experienced tax professional with a robust background in leading tax functions for major corporations. Currently serving as Vice President of Tax at Emerson since August 2015, Alexander oversees a global team of over 60 tax professionals, managing tax planning, accounting, processes, and audits. Prior to Emerson, Alexander held the position of Vice President of Tax at Baker Hughes from May 2011 to September 2015 and was Vice President of Taxes at SPX Corporation from July 2005 to May 2011. Alexander's earlier career includes roles as Director at PwC and Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen, along with an internship at The Walt Disney Company. Academically, Alexander holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University and a Master's Degree in Taxation from DePaul University.
