Sridar Narayanswami

Sridar Narayanswami is an experienced executive currently serving as the President of Discrete Automation Asia Pacific at Emerson since April 2025. Prior to this, Sridar held the position of Vice President and General Manager Marketing for Asia, Middle East, and Africa at Copeland between June 2023 and March 2025, a joint venture of Blackstone and Emerson Electric. From October 2012 to May 2023, Sridar was the President of the Middle East and Africa for Emerson and previously held various leadership roles, including Vice President and Managing Director for Emerson Climate Technologies India, and Vice President for the India Region. Earlier in Sridar's career, roles included Director of Flow Business and Director of Planning and Business Process for Emerson, alongside a tenure at A.T. Kearney as a Strategic Planning Manager and Wipro as a Territory Manager. Sridar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a focus on Marketing and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, completed between 1999 and 2001.
