Victor Alvarado

Victor Alvarado, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and automation solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Product Software Engineer at Emerson since July 2017, Victor tests new features and ensures product quality for DeltaV and other software applications. Prior to this role, Victor held positions at Glenmount Global Solutions as an Application Engineer, leading technical efforts for automation solutions from cost estimation through site acceptance testing. Earlier experiences include serving as a Process Control & Instrumentation Engineer at URS Corporation, where significant enhancements to power plant systems were achieved, and as a Project Engineer at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., focusing on automation projects in a petroleum refinery. Victor Alvarado holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Bolívar.
