Akash Radia has a diverse work experience in various industries. Akash started their career as a Social Ventures Fellow at Not For Sale, where they focused on monitoring and evaluation in the international development and social good spaces. After that, they co-founded Storyteller.is, a company that advised social initiatives on program narrative, strategy, and impact. Akash then joined the International Security Information Service - Europe as a Program Coordinator & Researcher. Next, Akash worked at Claro Partners as an Associate, transitioning from the international development/nonprofit space to the design consulting space. Akash then served as the Director of Community Outreach & Health Programs at Nayati Healthcare & Research Pvt. Ltd., where they set up the community outreach department for a new hospital group. Akash later became self-employed and worked as a Research & Strategy Consultant in Public and Digital Health, collaborating with various clients. Akash then joined Macadamian as a Senior Design Researcher and eventually became the Lead Design Researcher before the company was acquired by Emids, where they continue to hold the same position. Additionally, Akash has been co-leading the DE&I initiative at Emids, contributing to a company with over 3,000 employees.
Akash Radia has a Master of Arts degree in Applied Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Master of Science degree in Behavioral and Social Health Sciences from Brown University School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
