Jeremy Knobel

Jeremy Knobel currently serves as Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory at Emigrant Bank since July 2023, focusing on banking regulatory matters. Previously, Jeremy held the position of Senior Counsel at Silicon Valley Bank from December 2020 to June 2023. Prior to that, experience includes roles as Corporate Counsel at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Law Clerk at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and Legal Intern at the Investment Company Institute. Jeremy began a career in law as a Summer Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP while also working as a Government Affairs Assistant. An accomplished legal professional, Jeremy co-authored the S&C Financial Services Digest and contributed to the legislative history of the Dodd-Frank Act. Jeremy earned a J.D. with high honors from The George Washington University Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from American University.
