Kristen Thompson

Kristen Thompson is an experienced M&A Associate at Eminence M&A Strategies, with a diverse professional background in legal and business development roles. Previously, Kristen held positions at Filevine, where involvement in product payments contributed to the company's recognition as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. At Synopsys Inc., Kristen served as Corporate Counsel, negotiating licensing agreements and leading business development for M&A audit services in the semiconductor industry. Additional experience includes tech transactions and M&A advisory at Gunderson Dettmer and Dechert LLP, as well as an internship with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Kristen holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Vermont.
