Isaac Barnes

Isaac Barnes has a wealth of experience in the IT industry. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for the United States Marine Corps, Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department. In 2005, they moved to the Pentagon, US Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy as a Senior Technical Project Manager. In 2013, they became the AFCEA DC Chief Technology Officer, and in 2016 they moved to the Executive Office of the President as an Agile Product Development and Innovation consultant. In 2020, they joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Small Business Council/Supplier Diversity. Most recently, they have been the President of Eminent Future, an 8(a) and SDVOSB product and innovation cloud solutions advisors for directors in the Department of State and Department of Defense.

Isaac Barnes has a diverse educational background. In 2015, they completed a Breakthrough Intensive at Gap International. From 2011 to 2012, they attended the Founder Institute to pursue Entrepreneur studies. In 2002, they completed an ADA Programming Course at the Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School in 29 Palms, CA. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications from LinkedIn, Comptia, and lynda.com, including Reid Hoffman and Chris Yeh on Blitzscaling, CompTIA Security+ certification, Introduction to the PMP Exam, Making Business Projections, Management Tips, Managing Small Projects, Managing Virtual Teams, Project Management Fundamentals, Public Speaking Fundamentals, Rescuing Troubled Projects, and Writing Email.
