Demetrio Mapalo

Demetrio Mapalo is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Emirates Flight Catering since September 2011, Demetrio has held previous roles including Food and Beverage Supervisor for Emirates First Class and Business Class Lounges, Assistant Restaurant Manager at Armani Hotel Dubai, and Food and Beverage Team Leader at Grand Hyatt. Early career positions include roles at Hilton Worldwide, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, and Hyatt Regency, where skills were developed in various capacities from Room Service Waiter to Captain Waiter. Demetrio holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Lyceum of the Philippines - Intramuros, completed in 2002.
