Asem Hamad

Asem Hamad has extensive experience in Shari’a audit and compliance, currently serving as Assistant Vice President at Emirates Islamic since June 2011. Prior to this role, Asem worked at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank from June 2006 to June 2011, progressing from Shari’a Auditor Assistant to Senior Shari’a Auditor. Asem holds multiple degrees in Islamic Studies, including a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Sharjah and Al Madinah International University, as well as a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Sharjah and Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, respectively.
