Bret Hutson

Bret Hutson is an experienced nuclear energy professional currently serving as Shift Manager at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation since July 2016. Concurrently, Bret has held the position of Operations Manager - Production Support at South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company since October 2001, overseeing responsibilities such as procedure support, department performance improvement, and operator training. Bret's prior role as Shift Manager and as a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) included supervising control room activities at a Westinghouse commercial nuclear plant. Bret holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, obtained between 1989 and 1994.
