Laura Shaw

Laura Shaw is a seasoned professional in the field of education and mental health, currently serving as a Senior Assessment Specialist and Internal Verifier at Emirates Schools Establishment since April 2021. Prior to this role, Laura worked as a Curriculum Specialist and Instructional Designer at the Ministry of Education – UAE from November 2018 to April 2021, and served as a Health Science Teacher. Laura's background includes significant clinical experience with 2300 hours in various mental health settings, including a medium secure psychiatric hospital, older adult functional mental health, and early intervention for psychosis during tenure at NHS from September 2015 to September 2018. Additional roles encompass flexible healthcare assistance and learning coaching at South Leicestershire College and Lifeways Group, respectively.
