David Turner

David Turner is the Carbon Accounting Technical Lead at Emitwise. David has been with the company since January 2020 and in this role, they are responsible for providing technical support to customers on carbon accounting and emissions reduction projects. Prior to joining Emitwise, David was an Advisor at Emitwise from January 2020 to August 2020. David was also a Project Manager at ecoinvent from April 2019 to August 2020, where they managed projects related to the preparation and analysis of life cycle inventory data. David has also worked as a Scientist at Empa from January 2019 to April 2019, where they led research activities on several large European and national projects focused on life cycle assessment and risk assessment of innovative products and technologies. David has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Empa and a Postdoctoral Researcher from April 2016 to December 2018.

David Turner has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Science from the University of Southampton, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the same school.

They are on a team with and Caroline Bartlett - Head of Carbon Accounting. David Turner reports to Eduardo Gomez, CPO.
