Kalyn Smith is an experienced professional in arts management and event operations, currently serving as the HR Training and Culture Director at Emmanuel Church since May 2024. Prior to this role, Kalyn held various positions at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra including Director of Event Operations and Senior Event Manager from September 2015 to May 2024. Kalyn's earlier experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Arts and Education at Saint Mary's College from July 2013 to August 2015, and the Seating Director at Indiana University Auditorium from August 2010 to June 2013. Additional roles include a Performance Intern at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and a Quality Assurance Intern at Bayer HealthCare. Kalyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Arts Administration from Indiana University - School of Public and Environmental Affairs, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Arts Management from Indiana University Bloomington.
