Kathryn Smallen

Kathryn Smallen is a seasoned professional in the field of special education and disability services, currently serving as a Quality Specialist and Residential Quality Manager Consultant at Emmaus Homes since March 2014. Prior experience includes a role as Vice President of Operations at Life Skills from October 1997 to August 2012, and serving as Executive Director at The Learning Center from July 1986 to October 1998. Kathryn began a career at South County Habilitation Center, working as a Unit Program Supervisor from June 1978 to July 1986. Kathryn holds a Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on working with individuals with severe and profound disabilities from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, where studies took place from 1979 to 1981.
