Joel Teruya

Joel Teruya has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Joel is currently the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Emmes, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of FP&A at Trajector from April 2021 to April 2022. From May 2018 to February 2021, Joel was the Director of Finance at CentralSquare Technologies. Before that, they served as a Consultant at Beyond Profits, LLC from April 2017 to April 2018.

Joel has also held multiple roles at Credigy, including Director of Financial Planning Analysis from March 2015 to March 2017, Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis from January 2012 to February 2015, and Manager of FP&A from May 2008 to December 2011. Their career started at Recall Corporation, where they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst from August 2005 to May 2008.

Joel Teruya received their MBA in Finance from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a degree in System Engineering from Universidad de Lima from 1995 to 2000.
