Elizabeth M. Ellis

Elizabeth Ellis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Elizabeth began their career as a Corporate Paralegal at Emmis Communications Corporation in 2000, where they worked until 2005. Elizabeth then joined Krieg DeVault LLP as a Summer Associate in 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Law Clerk at Ice Miller LLP before becoming an Attorney at the same firm in 2009. Elizabeth briefly worked as a Volunteer Attorney at Indiana Legal Services, Inc. from 2010 to 2011, and then joined Clapp Ferrucci as Of Counsel from 2011 to 2015.

In 2014, Elizabeth started working as an Administrative Law Judge at the Indiana State Department of Health, where they remained until 2015. Elizabeth then returned to Emmis Communications in 2015, first as Corporate Counsel until 2017, then as Vice President and Corporate Counsel until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at MediaCo Holding Inc.

Throughout their career, Elizabeth has demonstrated their expertise in corporate law and legal counsel roles.

Elizabeth Ellis attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 1996, where they studied Psychology. Elizabeth then went on to Indiana University Bloomington from 1997 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Finally, Elizabeth pursued their legal education at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law from 2005 to 2008, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree with Summa Cum Laude honors.
