Hirushi de Silva

Hirushi de Silva has worked in the software engineering industry since 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Emovyz as an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer and Intern. In their role as an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer, they were proficient in all stages of the SDLC, STLC, and Bug Life Cycle, experienced with working with professional bug reporting tools like JIRA, capable of writing test cases and test plans using Zephyr for JIRA, involved in functional and non-functional testing, and responsible for manual testing, documentation/ user manual writing, and reviewing. In 2019, they moved to Emojot Inc. as a Senior QA Engineer.

Hirushi de Silva has an education history that includes a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from the University of the West of England, obtained between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended Dharmasoka College from 1997 to 2011, studying Mathematics. Additionally, they hold an ISTQB Foundation Level - Certified Tester certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, obtained in October 2021.
