Elaine Turner

Elaine Turner is a seasoned higher education professional with extensive experience in housing operations and residence life. Since October 2015, Elaine has served as the Senior Director of Housing Operations at Emory University, overseeing the business operations for student housing accommodating over 4,400 undergraduate students, budget management, and the development of operational policies to enhance student success. Prior to this role, Elaine held the position of Director of Residence Life at Elon University, managing residential communities for 3,600 students, and worked at The University of Toledo as the Associate Director of Administrative Operations, where responsibilities included managing a $23 million budget for a 4,500-bed program. Elaine's career began at Iowa State University, where roles as Area Advisor and Residence Hall Director were complemented by an academic foundation earned through two master's degrees at the same institution, one in Higher Education Administration and another in Family and Consumer Sciences.
