Virna Mendoza

Virna Mendoza is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event management and engagement within higher education. Currently serving as Director of Events and Engagement in the Office of the President at Emory University since May 2023, Virna previously held multiple roles at Emory's Goizueta Business School from September 2017 to May 2023, including Senior Associate Director and Associate Director of the Executive MBA Program. Prior to this, Virna was a Senior Client Account Manager at Ticket Alternative and worked as a Ticketing Assistant at ASO Presents. Beginning a career in development at the University of Georgia Athletic Association, Virna contributed as Assistant Director of Development from January 2000 to January 2009. Academically, Virna holds an MEd in Sports Management from the UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education and a BBA in International Business from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
