Power Module Expert at Emotors

Mohamad Nazar has a diverse range of work experience. Mohamad currently works as a Power Module Engineer at Emotors since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked for Mitsubishi Electric as a Researcher PhD Student from February 2020 to January 2023, where they collaborated with UGE and FEMTO-ST for their industrial PhD. Before that, they worked as a Research Engineer at Université Gustave Eiffel from February 2019 to July 2019. Mohamad also worked as a Project Engineer at Université Evry Val Essonne in January 2019, where they focused on designing and applying robust control on QUANSER Aero 2 DOF helicopter platform. Additionally, they gained experience through an internship at K. N. Toosi University of Technology from February 2017 to July 2017, where they worked on CAD using Solidworks, Ansys-fluent simulation, and programming using C#.

Mohamad Nazar is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Online Prediction of the Remaining Life of IGBT Semiconductor Modules at École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay. Mohamad started this program in 2019 and is expected to complete it in 2023. Prior to their PhD, they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Université Paris-Saclay, which they completed from 2018 to 2019. In their earlier years of education, from 2013 to 2018, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at K. N. Toosi University of Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Mohamad Nazar has also obtained several certifications. In June 2022, they completed The European PhD School on 'Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Energy Control and Power Systems' from ECPE European Center for Power Electronics. Mohamad also acquired knowledge in Machine Learning through a certification from Coursera in April 2022. In September 2020, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Power Electronics from ECPE European Center for Power Electronics. Finally, in April 2020, they completed a certification course in Reliability in Engineering Design from edX.
