Andreas Borgschulte is a Senior Scientist at Empa, where they lead the "Synthetic Fuels" group. They have been a Private Lecturer in NanoChemistry at the University of Zurich since 2014, following their habilitation in April 2014. Previously, Andreas worked as a PostDoc in Condensed Matter Physics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and coordinated a hydrogen storage project at Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht from 2005 to 2006. They earned a PhD in physics from Technical University Braunschweig in 2002.
