Yunliang Jiang

Yunliang Jiang is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering & AI at Empathia AI since September 2023, Yunliang also co-founded Airmart in July 2018, where responsibilities include the roles of Co-Founder and CTO. Previous positions include Lead Software Engineer at Recurrency, Director of Engineering at hibooks, and Software Engineer at both Thumbtack and Twitter. Early career experience includes research assistant and teaching assistant roles at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with software engineering internships at Facebook and Yahoo. Yunliang holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from Peking University.
