Jan Korotkiewicz

Jan Korotkiewicz is a seasoned back-end developer with extensive experience in software development and maintenance spanning from 2007 to the present. Currently working at Empik Group since July 2017, Jan specializes in back-end development for shopping platforms, utilizing technologies such as Java (versions 8 to 17), Kotlin, Groovy, Spring, and Hibernate. Previous roles include Java Software Developer positions at Edge One Solutions and Business Management Software, where Jan developed and maintained J2EE and Java SE applications and conducted Oracle SQL scripting. Additionally, Jan served as an IT Specialist at Urząd Miejski w Białymstoku, focusing on Oracle database management, Linux server management, and internal application development. Jan began the career as a Junior Java Developer and gained early experience as an intern at IBM. Jan holds a master's degree in Computer Engineering from Bialystok University of Technology.
