Lukasz Waszak

Lukasz Waszak is an accomplished investment director and chairman with extensive experience in the consumer, retail, and education sectors. Currently serving as Investment Director and Head of Poland at Penta Investments since September 2013, Lukasz leads key investments including Empik Group, Language Systems Poland, and Dr. Max pharmacy. Concurrently, Lukasz holds non-executive chairman roles at both Learning Systems Poland and Empik Group, where strategic initiatives and management teams have been established to drive growth. Prior consulting experience at McKinsey & Company, spanning six years, provided a strong foundation in strategy, M&A, and operations across various industries, complemented by early roles in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Lukasz holds an MBA from INSEAD and a master's degree from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
