Dr Ben Miles

Dr Ben Miles, Ph.D. is a Co-Founder of Empirical Ventures, a company that leads pre-seed and seed rounds for deep science startups creating century-defining technologies. Dr Ben is also the Founder and Presenter of Dr Ben Miles YouTube, and serves as a Non-Executive Director at EnsiliTech. Additionally, Dr Ben is the CEO and Founder of Spin Up Science, a company that champions entrepreneurial scientists and establishes ecosystems for technology commercialization. Dr Miles is also a Co-Founder of Science Angel Syndicate and Protolyst. Dr Ben holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nanophotonics and Nanophysics from the University of Bristol, and a Master of Science in Physics from the same institution.
