Marcos N. Santana

Marcos N. Santana is an experienced leader in software quality engineering and automation, currently serving as the Director of Software Quality Engineering and Automation at EmpiRx Health since June 2025. Previously, Marcos was the Global Lead for Software Development Engineering in Test at Starbucks, where responsibilities included managing a team to enhance global system operations and developing scalable test automation frameworks. Additional experience includes serving as a Software Engineering Advisor at Yuno and as Principal Software Engineer in Test at Abarca Health, where Marcos led advanced quality control initiatives for large teams and transformed organizational processes through automation. Earlier roles include Senior Manager/Manager of Software Quality Assurance and Quality Control at Softek Export, LLC. Marcos holds a Doctor's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Universidad Ana G. Méndez, an MBA from Universidad del Turabo, and a Bachelor's in Information Technology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
