Chris Champlin's work experience begins in 1998 at Ogilvy Hill Insurance, where they worked as a Marketing Specialist, responsible for establishing marketing plans and developing materials for workers' compensation business. In 2000, they joined James G Parker Insurance Associates / EmEx Insurance Services as a Marketing/Sales Manager, where they managed a team and controlled $20 million in workers' compensation premium. Chris then moved on to EMPLOYERS, starting as a Sales Executive in 2006 and consistently exceeding premium and profit goals in their Central California territory. Chris held various roles at EMPLOYERS, including Western Region Director of Sales, Director of Sales Excellence, and Director of Business Development, leading teams, creating sales strategies, managing association relationships, and expanding the company's brand. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of Digital Sales, leading digital sales for both EMPLOYERS and CERITY.

Chris Champlin attended Westmont College from 1996 to 1998 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Economics. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, they attended the College of the Sequoias, although no degree or field of study information was provided for this period.

In terms of additional certifications, Chris Champlin obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from EMPLOYERS in June 2015. Chris also holds an Insurance Broker, Property & Casualty certification from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), which they obtained in January 1999.
