Lori Brown is the EVP and General Counsel at Employers. Lori has over 12 years of experience working in high-level corporate positions, including executive compensation, corporate governance, and SEC compliance. Lori also has a specialized expertise in employment law and related litigation.

Lori's corporate secretarial duties include advising the Compensation Committee of the Board, managing regulatory and executive compensation matters, and all stages of proxy and compensation disclosures. Lori also advises on various equity compensation, executive compensation, and benefits issues. In addition, Lori prepares and maintains corporate records, participates in Board and disclosure committee meetings, structures agendas, reviews charters, prepares and reviews meeting materials, drafts resolutions and minutes, and reviews SEC filings.

Lori has managed multiple corporate reorganizations and RIFs, participated in an IPO and several mergers & acquisitions, collaborated on several diligence teams, and provided counsel as the primary legal resource for a post-acquisition integration team.

Lori Brown received their JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law and their BA in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of California, Riverside.

Lori Brown reports to Douglas D. Dirks, President & CEO. They work with Dennis B. Dix - SVP, Operations Innovation, Jeffrey C. Shaw - SVP, Chief Information Officer, and Lenard T. Ormsby - EVP, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel.
