Rachel Nelson

Rachel Nelson has a diverse work experience, starting in 2015 as an intern at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and later at Procter & Gamble in 2016. In 2017, they interned at McKinsey & Company as a Summer Business Analyst and at Root Insurance Company. Rachel also had an internship at Iridium Technology in 2015-2017 and Rev1 Ventures in 2016-2017. Rachel then became a Venture Partner at Contrary Capital from 2016-2018 while also working as a Product Strategy & Analytics role at LinkedIn from July-November 2018. From 2018 onwards, Rachel joined Root Inc., starting as an Associate Product Manager and progressing to Senior Product Manager before transitioning to Empora Title in 2022. At Empora Title, they started as a Product Manager and is currently serving as the Director of Product since March 2023.

Rachel Nelson attended Robert McQueen High School from 2010 to 2014, where they graduated as Valedictorian and was a National Merit Finalist. Following high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French at The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences from 2014 to 2018. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. In the spring semester of 2017, Rachel Nelson studied at Université Paris-Sorbonne, although specific start and end years for this program were not provided.
