Carmela Carr has over 28 years of work experience in various roles, starting as an Assistant Director of Student Activities at the University of South Carolina in 1992. Carmela then moved on to positions such as Director of Russell House University Union. Carmela transitioned into the field of subcontract management, holding roles at companies like Sentech, Inc., SRA International, CSRA Inc, General Dynamics Information Technology, and now currently serves as the Principal, Subcontracts Administrator at Empower AI. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in subcontract administration, acquisition integration, management of staff, and project coordination.

Carmela Carr holds a Master of Arts in College and University Administration from Michigan State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Diversified Liberal Arts from the University of San Diego, and a Master Certificate in Contract Management from Villanova University.
